[ad#Top of Post Left]Reportedly Dodge plans to resurrect the Super Bee name with the 2011 Charger. Moving on from the SRT naming scheme, the Dodge Charger Super Bee edition will most likely include special paneling and throw back decals to the 70’s.
The 2011 Charger has come a long way, so stepping up different editions will prove difficult, where there are already a number of variations. For example, the standard V6 Charger currently pumps out 292 hp, then the Hemi V8 chugs out 370 hp, and lastly the SRT 8 Charger produces a whopping 465 hp. Because of these performance differences I have to believe that the Super Bee variation of the Charger will merely be a visual upgrade.
If the 2011 Charger offers a Super Bee edition then this will be the 4th generation Super bee. The original super bee debuted in 1968 and was most recently brought back in 2007 and production ending in 2009.
