2011 Jeep Wrangler Interior Spy Pics

Photos have leaked out revealing the interior updates coming to the 2011 Jeep Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited. Not only has the interior been revamped and considered 'all new' but the age old tan and black tops will be replaced with body color alternatives.

The interior shots look to show off some luxury type upgrades. The first thing that jumps out at me is the steering wheel mounted audio controls and chrome accented bezels on the gauges. Although they are spaced about the same, the slight changes in trim make a big difference. Obviously depending on the 2011 Jeep Wrangler model you settle on, some of these changes may or may not be standard. We are still waiting on an official word from Jeep.

Other noticable changes, which have been pointed out by avid Jeep fans from allpar.com, are the smoother door lines. No more thick bulky plastic trim and more of a refined look. So, will this new remodel of the interior hurt the rugged image of the Wrangler?

All New Ferrari In The Works?

Spy pic shooters in the Italian city of Maranello have shot some video of what could be an all new Ferrari model. The good news is that the prototype is far enough along to be making rounds on the highway. Bad news is that we haven't heard any type of announcement from Ferrari announcing their intent, at least with a model that resembles this camouflaged treat.

The long front and hatch-type back end suggests a front engine rear wheel drive. Perhaps a new GT? Exciting things will start coming from Ferrari, especially since they announced they will be producing 6 new models before 2013. I just can't believe no specifics have yet been revealed...or at least a teaser.

For all we know this is a glimpse of the fuel efficient super car. You decide.

All New Ferrari In The Works?

Hyundai Veloster Spy Pics

The boys at CarAdvice.com got some great spy pics of the upcoming sport coupe from Hyundai, the Veloster. This early in the game Hyundai is keeping the Veloster under camouflage and we are still waiting on some interior pics.

Although dubbed a sport coupe, it will only be powered with a tiny 1.6 liter four cylinder engine. It's expected that shortly after launch Hyundai will start offering a bigger engine with more power as an upgrade.

The Hyundai Veloster will most likely remind viewers of the Honda CRZ and will be aimed at selling to same market. Personally, I'm not a fan, there is only so much use you can get out of a tiny engine and even smaller car. How much abuse can the little thing take?

2012 Dodge Durango Spy Pic

Dodge has code named the all new Durango 'WD', which appears to be slightly shorter than previous versions. Although all we've seen so far are camouflaged pictures, featuring the all confusing zebra print, there are a few things that have been confirmed by the SUV manufacturer.

First the 2012 Dodge Durango will be based on the 2011 Cherokee unibody chassis. Next, it's expected that the 2012 Durango will have the same engine options as the current model Jeep Cherokee, meaning a 3.6 liter v6 and a 5.7 liter HEMI.

New 2011 Ford Explorer

I don't need to tell you how many problems the automotive industry has had in recent years, but despite it's plagues, there is a glimmer of good news. Ford has announced an all new 2011 Ford Explorer, which more importantly, will be built in Chicago creating close to 1,200 new jobs.

Production will being in 4th quarter of 2010 and bring a relief to automotive workers needing jobs in the Chicago area. In addition, the retooling of the Chicago plant, along with updates, will cost roughly $400 million a healthy shot into the industries arm.

As far as the 2011 Ford Explorer is concerned, Explorer enthusiasts will love the more fuel efficient redesign. The concept of the 2011 Explorer was shown back in 2008 at the Detroit Auto Show, but I'm sure the final product will not be nearly as concepty. Yes, concepty is a word, I just invented it. 2012 Ford Ranger Spy Pic

A few weeks ago there was a picture found of the upcoming 2012 Ford Ranger. Of course, with the camo it's hard to tell exactly what it is, but according to experts it's what will eventually be the production Ranger small size pickup truck.

Originally there was talk of Ford ending production of the Ranger in 2009, but has since been postponed till 2011. Perhaps the production of the upcoming and radically redesigned 2012 Ranger will be produced somewhere other than the US. At any rate, just glad to see car manufacturers planning this far ahead.

Looks like the covers have finally came off of the all new Porsche Panamera. To me it looks like a confused station wagon and possibly the love child of a Dodge Charger and Subaru Outback. But hey, who am I to question Porsche and their design and engineering team.

In anticipation of the upcoming Los Angeles Auto Show the Ford Mustang has been making a few appearances and the latest shows it all wrapped up. But, if you are like me then you appreciate any little sneak peak you may get, just to wet your appetite.

2010 Mustang

Many of the Ford faithful have been eagerly anticipating what changes may be coming to the 2010 Mustang model year. Afterall there is going to be plenty of competition on the market, the Challenger which has already been released and the upcoming redesigned Chevy Camaro. Certain bulges mean a lot to some fanatics and what may be hiding under that camo dress may be something a bit more radical than anticipated.

09 BMW 7 Series Spy Pic

Expect more of the same for the 09 BMW 7 Series, at least for the basics, it's in the engine options that it gets real exciting. Not only will you 'reportedly' be able to get the BMW 7 Series in V8 and V12 trim, but also an alternative fuel option as well. Generally speaking expect an Electric Hybrid type motor available in the 09 BMW.
