Personally I don't care how you dress up a large car or a small van, Wagons are just plain ugly. However, in todays economy where gas is sky high and the price of new vehicles rivals some mortgages, they are a smart alternative to the SUV. Wagons have room for kids, groceries, and most have seats that lay down so you can haul wood, ski's, dead bodies, whatever you can image that an SUV which uses more gas could. Perhaps that's why Wagons are making a comeback on eBay.

According to eBay analysis it looks like Wagons priced from $5,000 and up are starting to be big movers. After taking the costs of a new SUV into consideration it's easy to find out why and they can be just as versatile. What do you think Soccer Mom's in the 70's used, there were no Jeep Grand Cherokee's back then.
