Thanks for your reply. I'm trying to order splash guards for it, but the car color guards are on back order. Don't know if this will help, but I have to try something before damage gets worse. Then I will check into repainting it. Thank you for your time and please let me know if you hear anything reguarding this issue. THANKS AGAIN

Thanks for the back story on your experience with other vehicles as well. It is a bad situation and something that should be remedied by the manufacturer if it's damaged under normal road conditions.

I'll keep my eyes out for any further information on possible recalls or fixes by the manufacturer. In my experience this wouldn't necessarily be under recall status, but if you contact GM directly they might offer a concession on getting it repainted. But, that doesn't necessarily solve your problem if it just happens again in 8k miles.

Good luck

No I do not live on a gravel road, car has not been on a gravel road. I live on a state road. It's just that the tires are throwing the small trash from the road onto my car. This can be heard from inside the car on a wet road especially. Just wanted any other camaro drivers to be aware of this. Its just that I have put about 8,000 miles on this car. It shouldn't have that kind of damage on it even it I had drove it on gravel. I have had other new cars, drove on the same roads and they have no damage, and alot more miles. Its just that something isn't right with this design. Don't get me wrong I love my car. It's nice, but for the price I expected the paint to hold up better. I will have to fix it myself but I plan on keeping it. I wanted other camaro owners to be aware of this.

I sure haven't heard of this problem yet sis. That's very unfortunate to hear about, but I also understand GM's stance, since they can't control the roads you drive on.

Do you live on a gravel road or do a lot of driving on country roads?

I bought a camaro in September. Trash from the road hits the side of car causing paint damage. GM will not do anything about this problem, but tell you they are sorry. It's not covered. So if you own a 2010 Camaro you might want to invest in splash guards to keep your car from damage. They might help, however my car looks pretty bad from this. Has anyone else had this problem that you know of?

Who knows. All I know is that GM is charging 8.9% APR on financing for it so I definitely won't be getting one anytime soon.

So, think the all new Camaro will be without issues? Think it will be a bug ridden disaster on 4 wheels? It certainly hasn't been rushed to market, but let's talk about what might happen.
