Now, back to the JE Design Audi Q7, which is aggressiveness personified(i think those are words).  This SUV sets on 22″ rims, contains an aggressive front grill and skirts, and sweet ass quad tail pipes.  As for power there is a bolt on super charger that delivers a whopping 500 horse power.  That’s enough to put the groceries up against the back glass and blow the panties off of any female on the sidewalk (of legal age of course).

It’s cute, it’s cuddly, and up until now if you got hit in the side by a shopping cart you would probably have been killed.  But the all new 2009 Toyota Yaris will start offering side airbags as standard equipment.  This was no doubt a much needed safety addition to the ever growing small car market that surely others will follow suit soon.

According to Toyota and IIHS tests the Yaris ranked the lowest possible score for side impact ratings, but with the side air bags ranked in the highest category.

This isn’t the first Hybrid car Toyota has manufactured in China, but the Toyota Prius was only made in very short supply.  It’s reported that there were over 430,000 Hybrid’s made, less than 400 were built in the China manufacturing plant.  However, keeping inventory close to home may be in the minds of Toyota higher ups.

Currently Toyota has plans to produce the Camry Hybrid in Thailand and Australia until 2010.

“Release Series vehicles give us the unique opportunity to communicate what our brand is about but with a twist,” Jack Hollis, Scion’s vp, said in a statement. “The smoking mobile billboards and street teams wearing the protective heat gear will engage consumers and bring additional awareness of the Scion brand and excitement to the xD RS 1.0’s distinctiveness.”

The Scion xD release marks the 5th Anniversary for Scion in the US and frankly it’s being met with mixed reviews.  As far as a collectors car, time will tell, but for the giddy car lover in me I don’t want one.  Of course, i was never one for the go-cart driving feel of the Toyota Scion.  But for a teenager who gets everything, $17,169 delivers the Toyota Scion Hot Lava xD.
