I received this as a gift .. It was missing the cord .. the person that gave it to me contacted AMAZON .. no satisfaction .. item was new in box or at least the box was new but the cord was broken off .. seller should have been ashamed.

I had a gift certificate and needed a new ice scraper after my favorite one, complete with attached cozy, warm glove lost it's edge. This was the biggest waste of someone else's money. The heater does absolutely nothing to melt snow or ice, and even if it did, you'd have to leave it plugged in (after heating it up for several minutes) while in use, therefore keeping the interior of your car from warming up while your doors are open. Once I discovered this was just a good idea and not well designed, I decided to use it as just a scraper. Well, you can't detach the cord, so it's extremely awkward to scrape while keeping the cord and plug from getting in the way. The topper was this morning, when the scraper edge broke off completely! I've only used it maybe 3 times. This thing blows!
I'm going back to search for another plain old, nothing too fancy scraper with glove attached!
