My uncle's cousin's brother used to know someone who went fishing with the dentist of a guy that has a Lightning and he swears that he beats Viper trucks all the time because they're so tricky to launch properly and even trickier to shift cleanly if you've got the 6-speed. Not to mention that the Lightning is quite a bit lighter and relatively inexpensive to upgrade to the point where it's at least equal to the Ram's rwhp.

I don't know who was driving the SRT but I have a friend that has one. He can drive. His favorate run is against Lightnings because the owners are alway sure they will win after these to bullshit vids. He eat the Fords in the first 50 feet and has time to light a smoke before they finish the quarter. He keeps the engine well tuned and burn good pump fuel. He tells me it is all in how you feed that Viper to get the best bite.
