Saturn Astra on Transformers 2 Set

It looks like Saturn is trying to make a publicity push by having the Astra appear in the live action movie Transformers 2. There is not a whole lot of information available about the new Transformer movie, let alone the Saturn Astra, that's been seen with Shia LaBeouf behind the wheel.

No, we do not know if the Saturn Astra will be a Transformer or not, but it's still good advertising to a younger crowd for Saturn.

   I own a Saturn Astra, and I have been reading all over the internet how that it isn’t “cool” enough for Transformers 2. I don’t think people realize that is isn’t just an economic car. It has the soul of speed. It really does. Check out Vantage Point. Dennis Quaid is driving an Astra (under different company). It has speed, and monuverablity. Plus, it is something different. just because it doesn’t have the cool names that we all know and love doesn’t mean it can’t be a great transformer. I personally am hoping for it to be a bad guy. it needs attitude.

   I watched the Transformers cartoon version during my childhood days. It is nice to know that good computer graphics brought the Transformers back again. I wish to see more of the Dinobots in action perhaps on another sequel.

   Transformers movie rocks. i am a fan of Transformers ever since childhood. Now i have three kids and they all like the Transformers cartoon series and the Movie.
