2009 VW Tiguan

Volkswagen is introducing a new compact SUV into the market and labeling it the VW Tiguan.  This first for VW will have a base price of just $27,575, which will bear the award winning turbo charged 4cyl.  This wild 4 banger will produce up to 200 hp and over 200 ft lb of torque, more than enough for this compact suv.

I love the looks and the hunch back roof line gives it sporty appeal.  If targeting the Rav4 market I think Toyota may have some steep competition when this bad boy is finally released, especially for the price.

    I am ready to take new Tiguan 2009 but I’m not shore for the turbo-engine.
    Can you please tell me about that because I have two children and I don’t want to changing cars every 2-3 years.

    I’d suggest emailing the poster above you on more information on the reliability of the new turbo version of the Tiguan. Personally, I’d go with the turbo, because that extra power normally causes ‘less’ strain on an SUV motor, since it’s not constantly under load at higher rpms to bring it down the road, up a hill, pulling whatever.
