GMC Jimmy Recalled

Just because you may have a little age on a vehicle doesn't mean that it's immune to recalls.  It's important to keep up with what's being recalled, because just the other day GMC recalled GMC Jimmy's from 2000-2001.  Nothing terrible, but the multifunction switch installed in the 2000-2001 Jimmy could cause a problem with the stop lamps and rear hazard lights.

Easy fix though, once the Jimmy is taken into the dealers they will simply reinstall a new switch.  Of course this fix will be done free of charge.  Repairs on this recall will begin on June 17, 2008.

    I HAVE A QUESTION FOR YOU GMC PEOPLE OUT THERE……..I OWN A 2001 SLE……..DARK BLUE METALLIC AND I THINK THE 2ND TONE IS CALLED PEWTER……….2 TONED VEHICLE…..A FEW YEARS AGO I SLID ON ICE, SPUN AROUND AND THE PASSENGER SIDE BACK BUMPER WAS DAMAGED…..there’s a hole on the end of it……ANYHOW, I PURCHASED THE PART FOR THE VEHICLE……..MY BROTHER WAS GOING TO REMOVE THE DAMAGED ONE AND PUT THE NEW ONE ON IT…….WE NEED TO PAINT IT FIRST……CAN’T GET THE EXACT NAME AND NUMBER OF THE GMC COLOR USED…..CAN ANYONE HELP ME WITH THIS ONE? ANY IDEAS?
