Chevy Volt Questioned

GM has been taking large steps forward in regards to creating an electric car. Earlier this year at the Detroit Auto Show they debuted the Chevrolet Volt, which features an electric power train. Questions are arising now as to the safety and economic value of creating such a vehicle, which would operate on lithium ion batteries.Chevy Volt

With a fully operational prototype by the end of 07, GM is hoping for a launch as early as 2010. Such a strict time line on production has caused some to question GM's sincerity and view it simply as a PR stunt.

"Competitors who write this off as a PR exercise are going to be brutally surprised," Lutz said.

The curved side windows would distort light, in other words the person inside would have a distorted image of the outside.
I like the concept of the Volt, however I am not sure about the package of this vehicle: Interior space seems very small in proportion to the overall dimensions.

I think this car look fantastic. how the modeling is and how it is made make it look beautiful

  5. Lee Says:

The curved side windows don’t distort light, you are confusing a window with a lens. What car today has flat glass panes? All cars have curved windshields and side and rear glass, ever see a ‘63 Corvette split window???

  6. bernard Says:

yea, numb-nards, there’s tons of other cars with curved windows. and why would that be your main concern?

  7. admin Says:

Wait, did you say numb-nards? lol

even if there is any mistakes in making this vehicle at least they are trying i like the fact that this car can go 40 miles on a single charge before it uses a single drop of gas
